In Brief:

  • Valhalla’s v1.13.2 patch, named Special Delivery, reached mainnet on Oct. 26.
  • It reworks the mail system to hand rewards directly to players, folds accounts into a single sign-in, and strips out the Battle Arsenal and Vera Condition systems.
  • Chest drop rates climbed from 50% to 100%, and Veras now begin with every one of their species-specific abilities.

On Oct. 26, Valhalla shipped patch v1.13.2 to mainnet. It takes out two systems players dealt with before battle, changes the way rewards arrive, and moves each player’s account behind one sign-in.

The game’s official X account announced the release: “Valhalla Patch v1.13.2: Special Delivery is now LIVE on Mainnet!” The post continued: “A major update has arrived in Valhalla, bringing several highly requested changes!”

Rewards land in the inbox

Special Delivery takes its name from the reworked in-game mail system. Anything a player earns during play now arrives directly in their inbox, so the manual collection steps that once sat between winning and getting paid are gone.

Chests now always pay out. Their drop rate rose from 50% to 100%.

Two systems cut

The patch removes the Battle Arsenal, which governed how players got ready for a fight. According to the team, taking it out means fewer steps before a battle starts.

Vera Condition is also gone. That layer put limits on how players could manage their characters, and Veras could lose as much as 50% of their stats after a defeat in Ranked or Tournament matches. Those penalties have been lifted.

Every Vera now starts with its complete set of species-specific abilities. Tile selection on the hex-grid battlefield is also clearer to read after the patch.

A single account and sign-in

Sign-in now works through Google, WeChat, email or a phone number. This replaces the previous arrangement of separate accounts and private-key backups, and a player’s full progress is now kept under one account.

Anyone using a legacy wallet will need to go through additional verification to move their assets over. Players who hold $FLOKI or xFLOKI get tier advantages, though buying tokens is “not required to start playing.”

The FLOKI account gave its own summary of the update: “You asked. Valhalla delivered. ⚔️ All Vera abilities unlocked, rewards sent straight to your inbox, and fewer steps between you and the battlefield.”

Nothing in the announcement addressed $FLOKI’s price or demand for the token.

Following on from 1.13.0

This patch comes after v1.13.0, which began the client-side work toward a mobile release. When that update shipped, the team said it would “prepare Valhalla for mobile, simplify battle and account systems, lay groundwork for upcoming economy changes, alongside other improvements.”

No details on those economy changes have been shared yet. Along with the FLOKI token, the game has two in-game currencies, Runix and Onyx.

For now, Valhalla is browser-only. An iOS and Android app was originally promised for 2025 and has since been pushed to 2026.

Background

Valhalla is developed by the FLOKI team on opBNB. In the MMORPG, players collect, train and battle creatures called Veras on a hex-grid battlefield, take on quests, and trade NFT items in an economy run by players.

After three years in development, the game went live on mainnet on June 30, 2025.

This isn’t the first time account changes have caused problems. In January 2025, before an earlier wallet and account patch, FLOKI told players to “Connect Valhalla play accounts to wallets to prevent the loss of data and progress,” and warned that any account still unconnected would be wiped during the upgrade.
