What resets

The team wrote that “Every hero goes back to level 1 and wave 1.” The skill tree, runes and record waves get wiped at the same time.

So on day one of the season, every player starts again at the entrance to the dungeon. A hero’s record wave is the deepest point they’ve reached, which means clearing those records removes the progress markers from the last season.

What carries over

Inventory is safe. In the post’s words: “Your gear stays: every item and its upgrades, pets, potions, boxes, gold, scrap.”

The list keeps going after scrap, and Hood Siege hasn’t put the complete carryover list anywhere else. Upgraded items and pets come with players into Season 2, so veterans will be back at level one but holding all the gear they’ve built up.

Nothing in the post says whether Season 2 changes the leaderboards, the Battle Pass or the $SIEGE reward pool. It doesn’t mention new classes, zones or bosses either.

How the game works

Hood Siege is an idle wave-defense RPG that runs on Robinhood Chain. Players choose a Warrior, Mage or Rogue and send that hero into an endless dungeon of monster waves spread across 21 zones. A boss shows up every 10 waves. Formations, champions and wave modifiers mix up the runs.

The fighting continues while players are offline. Every wave a hero clears earns points toward a reward pool, which pays out in $SIEGE every eight hours. Free heroes get vSIEGE instead. It works in the in-game shop but can’t be converted.

Other systems include a Battle Pass with daily and weekly missions, a daily co-op World Boss, weekly power and referral races, a marketplace where players trade gear and pets, and Lucky Drops on every 10th wave.

Background

The official site’s roadmap has three milestones: the Genesis mint, the token launch and Season one. Season 2 isn’t on it.

$SIEGE launched on derp trade in July 2026 with leverage of up to 8x. The team has also said its referral leaderboard is live.

About six months ago, the @hoodsiege account posted a Season 2 roadmap. That post was titled “Sol Siege (official site) Development Roadmap – Season 2 Is Coming” and was about Sol Siege. It laid out a Guild Update, an offline window of about two days to ship all Season 2 content as a single update, and a reset of Character Level, Stats and Mastery Points for every player.

The new post says nothing about downtime for Paragon Rising. The only start time it gives is Wednesday at 16:00 UTC.
