APhone collaborates with Magic Eden to offer Access Pass NFTs for sale.

APhone partners with Magic Eden for sale of Access Pass NFTs

The Virtual web3 smartphone app APhone has announced the upcoming sale of 5,000 Access Passes on the NFT marketplace Magic Eden. Priced at 0.2 SOL (approximately $25) each, the Access Passes will allow users to unlock the full functionality of APhone for a year when purchased through Magic Eden. In addition, each NFT swap will come with 10 key rewards that can be exchanged for future token airdrops, as well as a 25% boost in Magic Eden’s Diamond Rewards on its marketplace.

Powered by cloud infrastructure company Aethir, APhone boasts a device-agnostic feature that enables compatibility across desktops, mobiles, and VR headsets. This unique approach allows users to access demanding apps and games directly from their web browser without being limited by their device’s hardware. APhone also aims to eliminate costly development and backward compatibility issues.

Chief business officer of APhone, William Peckham, highlighted the company’s commitment to decentralization by stating, “APhone Passes enable any smartphone user to easily enjoy the benefits of web3, regardless of their device’s technical limitations, making it accessible to everyone.”

Following its integration with Solana, APhone users now have access to over 500 web3 apps, games, NFTs, and DeFi protocols. The app also comes with pre-installed web3 games such as HoneyLand, Mighty Action Heroes, and Warpcast. Magic Eden’s chief revenue officer, Chris Akhavan, expressed excitement about the opportunities APhone presents for game and app developers, allowing them to launch and scale their games without the restrictions of traditional app stores.
