Chainers launches Season Pass V3 at $29.99 — but the price expires Aug. 2

chainers launches season pass v3 at 29 99 but the price expires aug 2 In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Season Pass V3, branded “Tranquil Waters,” went live at $29.99, with Chainers saying that figure stands only through Aug. 2.
  • That makes three passes inside roughly three months, arriving after V2 landed in July and Season 1’s “Peacock Domination” wrapped June 29.
  • The tempo comes as 51 Games pushes toward a Q3 2026 TGE and listing for $CHU — the token that $CFB will convert into.

Chainers has set Season Pass V3 at $29.99, with Aug. 2 marked as the deadline for that figure.

Dubbed “Tranquil Waters,” the season leans on an underwater motif. “Get yours for $29.99 and claim all-new treasures from the world beneath the waves,” the game wrote in its announcement post. Chainers billed V3 as its strongest pass to date, offered at its lowest price.

What the announcement leaves out

Missing from the post: any level count, reward table or closing date for the season. Nor did it clarify whether the mechanics rolled out a month ago carry over into V3.

That gap is notable, since V2 altered the framework far more than it altered the art. Infinity levels arrived with Season Pass V2, lifting the ceiling that previously halted rewards at level 28 and letting players continue farming beyond it.

V2 additionally merged the Free and Premium reward tracks into one Golden Pass purchase. CFB could be spent to buy pass levels directly and accelerate progression, while an Auto Collect function gathered leftover rewards at a discount that grew as players finished more levels. Once every level was complete, a “Reclaim Everything” option delivered the entire Golden reward set.

At launch, V2 carried an 11 percent discount on the Golden Pass across its opening two days. The $29.99 window on V3 stretches further, although Chainers has yet to reveal the pass price after Aug. 2.

The economy behind the pass

On July 17, Chainers overhauled its reward pools, introducing a Tier 4 and restructuring the tiers already in place. Tier 1 daily payouts jumped from 750 CFB to 3,000 CFB as part of a bump applied across every tier. Feeding those pools is player output generated through boosters, seeds and garden beds.

Crafting, farming, upgrades and store purchases all run on CFB, the game’s soft currency. It took over from $FRI and will convert into $CHU at a rate that remains undisclosed.

$CHU is the remaining unknown. Both the TGE and listings are targeted by 51 Games for Q3 2026, with 20% of tokens unlocked at TGE and the other 80% vesting monthly across 12 months. Firm dates haven’t been locked in. A post-listing airdrop of 10 million $CHU — less than 1% of supply — is reserved solely for wallets whitelisted via the Chainers website.

Season passes as a rhythm

Running May 19 through June 29 under the Golden Summer campaign, Season 1 went by “Peacock Domination.” Every player could access its 25 primary milestone levels, alongside a peacock animal line divided by rarity tier. CFB, seeds, farm animals, fertilizers and decorative items filled out the rewards, and Golden Pass holders additionally received the Infinity Levels.

Three passes, three themes, three pricing setups. Rather than a drawn-out seasonal arc, the pattern suggests something closer to a monthly cycle — and every version has paired a cosmetic refresh with a mechanical one.

Background

Built by 51 Games, Chainers is a browser MMO in which players create characters, farm, craft, explore and battle across PvE and PvP. The game operates on Chainers Chain, a Polygon Edge sidechain, and last year integrated with Immutable for events distributing CFB and Gems. Players joining without a wallet receive a starter pack containing a non-transferable First Chainer card.

In its Nov. 24, 2025, announcement of the $CHU listing plan, the studio said its player base exceeded 600,000. The 2026 roadmap covers the public token sale, a marketplace, CEX listings, DAO governance, UGC tools and open-world gameplay.

Players have three days, according to the V3 store page.
