In Brief:
- An H5 version of Idle Fantasy is now out, and anyone can play it straight from a browser with no waitlist and no pre-registration.
- The 5v5 idle RPG runs on ONEchain β the network NEXUS rebranded from CROSS after acquiring an 89.03% stake in Korean app marketplace ONE Store for around 62.6 billion won.
- CEC, the game’s token, is mintable only by players who hold battle pass reward items alongside resources earned in-game, and any tokens spent are burned outright.
Idle Fantasy has gone live on H5, according to a post from the game’s account β browser-based, with nothing standing between players and entry.
“Build your squad, clear dungeons, and keep progressing while offline,” the studio wrote, directing players to a URL hosted on idlegog.com.

That domain choice is deliberate. On its own site, the game is described as “the on-chain evolution of IdleGog,” a title organized around squad assembly and idle progression.
The title was first onboarded by NEXUS on June 8, back when the chain still went by CROSS. It’s a 5v5 idle RPG that combines team composition with automated combat, with resource collection and character growth ticking along while the player is away. Competition comes by way of arenas and guild battles.
How CEC gets made
NEXUS has leaned harder on the token design than on anything else. Minting CEC, the game’s core token, requires users to hold both battle pass reward items and resources earned through play. Purchasing on its own won’t generate it. Neither will playing on its own.
Once issued, tokens convert into an in-game exclusive currency that buys items. Rather than recirculating through the economy, tokens spent this way are burned in full β a mechanism NEXUS said holds circulating supply steady.
A chain with a new name
Earlier this year CROSS became ONEchain, with the $CROSS token renamed $ONE. “Today, CROSS becomes ONE,” the project said at the time. ONEUSD was designated the ecosystem’s settlement unit, and every pair on the Gametoken DEX has been priced and settled in it since July 9 UTC, with transaction fees routed into buybacks of the native token.
Beneath the branding, not much moved. ONEchain remains an EVM-compatible Layer 1 using Proof-of-Staked-Authority consensus and running the Cancun/Prague stack with BLS. The “Breakpoint” upgrade, Mainnet 2.0, shipped June 1 with a 21-validator set and now holds close to 2 million accounts.
The ONE Store deal came first, with the rename following. On June 18, NEXUS’s board approved buying 20,247,990 shares β an 89.03% stake β for about 62.6 billion won, or roughly $40.74 million. Execution came June 29. On the selling side: SK Square with 45.78%, Naver with 24.06%, Steel Number One First with 17.02% and Krafton with 2.17%.
Shipping on upwards of 38 million devices, ONE Store is Korea’s second-biggest app marketplace measured by game transaction value. It came aboard as the network's third validator on July 15, joining H Lab and CertiK in block production, transaction validation and network security.
Filling the shelf
Idle Fantasy lands in the middle of a steady onboarding streak. Collectible strategy RPG Throne of Chaos is already on NEXUS, as is Myth Legends, a collectible RPG from Soul Dargon Limited that also builds on idle progression. An MOU with Taiwanese studio Mustaverse will bring TCG Aurayale across.
Nine further titles for ONE were announced by NEXUS on the 7th, set for sequential release over the course of the year and covering MMORPGs, SLGs, collectible RPGs and TCGs. First out of the gate was Frost Kingdom, an exclusively published SLG that went worldwide July 23 on iOS, Android and PC.
The remainder is anchored by two MMORPGs. BPMG’s Rappelz M carries over the character growth and large-scale battles of the PC original. Astellia M, developed by LeForge Games, extends the Astellia world with combat built on combinations of more than 60 summons known as Astels, plus deck building across five classes: Knight, Assassin, Archer, Scholar and Mage.
Henry Chang, who founded NEXUS, previously ran WEMADE and is credited as the architect of its Wemix network. The company has stated its ambition for ONE to become a dominant on-chain gaming platform globally, and it has floated an “AI-native game platform” that would curate AI-generated games in real time.
ONE described the Idle Fantasy launch in far plainer language. “The platform’s roster of real, shipped games just got one longer,” it said.
