Axie Infinity’s Elite 4 Championship on September 6
Season 18 of Axie Infinity comes to a head on September 6, when the Elite 4 championship begins at 7 PM PH / 6 AM EST. Only four elite players remain, and each one is chasing the championship crown.
Organizers have confirmed the season's full reward pool: 1,200 bAXS, with an Origin Axie going to the winner as well. Registration requires every participant to submit three separate teams of three axies each, and overlap between those teams cannot exceed nine axie parts. No axie may appear on more than one team, and once registration closes, substitutions are off the table.
Double elimination format
Matches run under a double elimination bracket. To take a match, a player has to log a win with every one of their teams — and once a team has won, it cannot be sent back out during that same match.
Anyone competing in the Elite 4 must also join the Axie Tournament Discord, which serves as the channel for announcements and communication.
Collectible ticket issuance
Collectible tickets are the mechanism behind reward distribution, backed by 10,000 bAXS in total. Season 18 saw 11,430,100 collectible tickets issued, putting the value of each one at roughly 0.87 bAXS. Players will see that amount converted into mAXS, while the bAXS itself is scheduled to land directly in their Ronin addresses over the next few weeks.
