In Brief:
- Rebel Cars (official site) says seven core gameplay systems are now built out, covering every race flag, weekly events, pit logic and tire compounds.
- One entry, tire temperature and burnouts, carried a “FIXED” label instead of ready — the only repair among the seven.
- Built in Unreal Engine 5 and running on Elysium, the racer pulled in over $3 million during its April 2024 token sale. A release date still hasn’t been announced.
Seven of the racing game’s core systems are finished, the studio behind Rebel Cars announced in a post on X.
Of those, six carried a ready label: every race flag, weekly events, pit logic, the various tire compounds, the player profile and the friend system. The seventh — tire temperature and burnouts — was tagged “FIXED,” which made it the sole item on the checklist framed as a repair rather than a finished build.
Hello @everyone we have finished the development for major compents.

“Hello @everyone we have finished the development for major compents,” read the post.
Its text stops mid-sentence at the word “The,” and nothing beyond the checklist was shared. No build number, no playtest window and no launch date came with it.
What the list covers
Each entry sits on the simulation side of the game rather than the economic one. Race flags, pit logic and tire behavior all govern what happens during a session; nothing in the update touched the asset layer, the marketplace or the RC token.
Two of the seven are social features: weekly events and the friend system. The studio has previously outlined matchmaking that sorts racers by skill for casual and competitive events alike, along with a co-op mode that sits beside single-player online racing.
The player profile ties into something the team has promoted from the outset — race statistics and achievements written on-chain, giving players a verifiable record of how they’ve performed.
Where the project stands
IXOR Digital develops Rebel Cars in Unreal Engine 5, and the game launched exclusively on Elysium, the chain operated by VulcanForged. IXOR Digital was founded by Andronikos “Andros” Bisogiannis, who brings more than 20 years in visual effects and gaming and serves as chief executive of Rebel Cars. According to the studio, it has handled more than 300 projects for over 200 clients.
Running from April 3 through April 15, 2024, the initial DEX offering went through the Elysium Launchpad as the chain’s first IDO. The sale sold out and brought in more than $3 million. Its three tiers opened at 6 p.m. UTC on April 3 and asked for 200, 100 or 50 locked PYR, which secured $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 allocations in RC along with bonus NFT car assets.
Following the raise, RC was listed on MEXC as RC/USDT. July 15, 2024 saw the launch of the in-game CGI NFT marketplace, which accepts USDT or RC at a 10% discount.
The ERC-6551 standard underpins the game’s assets. Through Track Shares, holders can take a position in circuits such as Monaco, Suzuka, Dubai and Monza, collecting a portion of the revenue generated by race participation fees, in-game advertising and special events.
The official marketplace already lists licensed cars including the Audi A3, BMW M4 and Ferrari 812. The team’s stated target is 100 vehicles at launch, each with distinct performance traits, growing beyond 1,000 later on. Players can tune engines and suspension, adjust aerodynamics, and work on paint, decals and a livery editor.
June 2024’s VulCon4 hosted the game’s first playable demo. Access requires an account at RebelCars.io plus a downloaded client, and the plan has been PC first, with additional platforms hinging on demand.
Card payments did not make the finished list. Integration of VISA, American Express and Mastercard — which would let players purchase in-game assets directly — remains in progress and is not yet live.
RC peaked at roughly $0.042 in July 2024, then hit a low near $0.0009 in July 2026.
