Mercedes-Benz, commonly known purely as Mercedes, has reportedly filed Web3 trademark applications regarding Mercedes Benz, Mercedes, S-Class, G-Class, and Maybach while also claiming plans for NFTs, Digital Goods, and many more.
This announcement came from Mike Kondoudis, a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) licensed trademark attorney.
According to Mike, the trademark application was filed on Dec. 14 with the German luxury and commercial vehicle automotive brand planning to release:
- NFTs + NFT-based media
- Crypto-collectibles
- Digital currency
- Stores for virtual goods
- Financial Services
- Cryptocurrency Trading
- Virtual vehicle parts
- Virtual clothing, footwear, furniture, and home appliances.
