GAMEE launches Gold Fest Season 2 with record prize pool
Season 2 of Gold Fest is officially underway at GAMEE, and its 1 million USD prize pool stands as the biggest ever put up on Telegram. The start date, August 20, 2026, doubles as the platform’s tenth anniversary on the messaging app. The figure is twice the 500,000 USD prize pool from Season 1, and it could still climb higher.
Introducing Gold Fest: The Game
Headlining the season is Gold Fest: The Game, a standalone digging-and-exploration experience constructed directly for the TON Blockchain. Season 1 asked players to hop between several GAMEE titles; this time, the journey takes place underground alongside Nuggy, the golden nugget mascot. Rewards scale with depth, and whatever players earn keeps stacking up over time.
Accessibility sits at the heart of the design, so no prior gaming background is required to take part. Rewards flow from playing regularly, pushing further down, and bringing in friends — a rhythm that suits the short bursts of play the Telegram audience prefers.
A record-breaking season
Roughly 550,000 players across 201 countries took part in Season 1, racking up 13.6 million games played. At the time, that made it the biggest reward event Telegram gaming had ever seen.
Gold-backed rewards and Soulbound Tokens
Backing the prize pool is the nGRND Gold Protocol, whose rewards are underpinned by verified gold assets. The arrangement keeps a tether to a physical commodity while the claiming process stays entirely inside Telegram.
To participate, players need a GAMEE Dynamic Soulbound Token (DSBT), issued through the nGRND Gold Protocol Staking and Rewards Ecosystem. The custom token costs nothing and opens the door to continued gold rewards outside the game via a range of participation activities. Each DSBT is non-transferable and bound to the player’s account.
About GAMEE
GAMEE dates back to 2015 and is co-owned by Alpha Compute Corp, listed under ALP, and Animoca Brands. Its mobile gaming platform is built to usher a wide audience into web3, and it sits among Telegram’s largest gaming platforms, counting more than 120 million registered users and over 10 billion logged gameplay sessions.
Over 40 web3 communities have partnered with GAMEE, alongside mainstream names including NASA and Manchester City Football Club. By building Gold Fest: The Game specifically for TON, the studio simplifies how users interact with it, cutting down on the need for external wallets and smoothing out the experience.
The company frames the launch as proof of its continued investment in Telegram gaming, market conditions notwithstanding. Gold Fest: The Game can be played now via its dedicated Telegram channel.
