European Nights returns with new competitions
European Nights is back on Sorare, bringing with it a run of fantasy sports contests built around Europe’s biggest club tournaments. Two board types anchor the format: Champion streak boards, which open on September 8, and Contender streak boards, which follow on September 16. November 6 is the closing date for both.
Rather than pitting managers against each other in head-to-head rankings, the streak boards are keyed to score thresholds. Six levels sit on an escalating scale, from 350 points at Level 1 up to a 500-point ceiling at Level 6. The payouts climb sharply toward the top, reaching into the thousands at the highest tier. Depending on whether the Cash Wallet is switched on in a given jurisdiction, prizes land in ETH, SOL, or cash.
That design changes the weekly calculus for managers. The question is no longer only how rivals are performing, but whether a lineup can hit a specific number. Clear the threshold and the reward follows, whatever anyone else does.
Scoring advantages
European Boosted Cards carry a scoring bonus of up to 10 percent for players featuring in the competitions. That margin matters when chasing the upper levels, since only 30 points separate Level 5 from Level 6. In practice, boosted cards let managers reach a threshold on weaker raw output.
Scarcity also shapes what gets paid out. Limited streak boards hand over boosted payouts when Rare cards are fielded, so a manager holding a complete Rare collection has room to squeeze more out of the format — an extra layer of strategy.
Card management and platform details
Nothing changes for Super Rare and Unique cards, which continue to serve the existing Arena format on their own separate leaderboards. Classic competitions run alongside European Nights as well, leaving a route in for managers whose collections skew older.
Card supply on Sorare follows a fixed scarcity model: 1,000 Limited, 100 Rare, 10 Super Rare, and a single Unique. The result is a secondary market that holds up and tier distinctions that actually mean something in competition.
Late in 2025 the platform moved off Ethereum and onto Solana, smoothing out transactions in both SOL and ETH. Rewards come in several shapes too, from player cards to cash prizes and real-life experiences.
Sorare’s official licensing deals remain its main advantage over rival projects, letting it wire genuine tournaments straight into the game itself.
