Solana has announced the launch of its Game Pass NFT, a free digital collectible that grants players early access to games and offers the opportunity to earn cryptocurrency rewards.
Available for minting on Magic Eden, the NFT is part of a new multi-season gaming initiative designed to attract more users to the Solana ecosystem.
The rollout begins with a four-week promotional campaign called Season 0, featuring collaborations with 30 games, including Star Atlas, Nyan Heroes, and Stepn. NFT holders can play these games early and complete quests through GAM3S.GG, where they can win over $10,000 in rewards, including Solana tokens, NFTs, and other in-game items.
More than 13,000 Game Pass NFTs have already been minted, showing strong interest from the gaming community. Solana has also hinted at future updates, such as more in-game quests and a better progression system for upcoming seasons.
Currently ranked sixth in market cap, Solana remains stable at around $132, with many seeing this gaming push as a sign of its continued growth in the Web3 space.
